La Duncan Custom 7 cuerdas es una cápsula estilo P.A.F con sobrebobinado, que usa un pequeño imán de cerámica y embobinado custom para brindar una gran capacidad de respuesta al mismo tiempo que mantiene la claridad de grandes acordes. Tiene un rango medio superior brillante, que ayuda a que las notas se destaquen al tocar limpio y proporciona un gran contenido armónico al tocar con ganancia. La Duncan Custom tiene una distorsión enfocada, aireada y brillante, convirtiéndola en una excelente opción para guitarras más cálidas con un rango medio prominente. Combínala con los modelos Jazz o 59 de brazo para una configuración de doble humbucker que rockea. Construida a mano en la fábrica de Santa Bárbara, California, el modelo Duncan Custom 7-string utiliza un pequeño imán de barra de cerámica, placa inferior de níquel plateado, cable de 4 conductores para múltiples opciones de cableado y se les aplica un baño de cera para un funcionamiento libre de ruidos.
